MS DHONI - THE COOLEST CAPTAIN IN CRICKET HISTORY
INTRODUCTION
Mahendra singh Dhoni not just a cricketer, Captain or Batsman, for us Indians He is like god. Yes many of you be must knowing that cricket is not just a game or sports in INDIA it is a religion and cricketers are like god to us. Many records say that in India mostly people around 80% are Hindu some are Muslims, christian, Jain, Buddhist, Sikhs and more, But this is not all true here most people belong from single religion i.e. cricket lovers with the 100% votes. Yes all the people here are cricket lovers, We do worship of Cricket, and MSD is like one of the biggest and most lovable god of Cricket. Now you must be thinking that how he became like this, So all the story about his journey is just one step away from you, As all the times when I write a post I do collect information from many places but today I am writing this all the way from my Heart. His nickname is Mahi so, maybe I can continue with this name further
BIRTH OF LEGEND
MS Dhoni born on 7 July 1981 in Ranchi early was in Bihar now in Jharkhand many of you would be knowing this but how many of you know that his native place is Uttrakhand. Yes his native place is in Lavali village in Almora district of Uttrakhand. His father Pan Singh used to do work as a Jr. Manager in Makon group ltd. Mahi did his early education in DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamli. He used to play badminton and football in school days even he played some district level games in football, But the journey of becoming wicketkeeper from goalkeeper is really intresting. In 1995 commando cricket club selected him as a wicket keeper and Mahi played there upto 1998. In cricket his favourite cricketres were Adam Gilchrist and Sachin Tendulkar.
PASSION VS PROFESSION
In 1997-1998 he got selected to play for Vinoo mankand trophy U-16 after that he gave exam for Railway and got selected then he worked there as a ticket checker and continued his game with time. He got entry in Ranji trophies and played very well there, He was not having that much time to do "job and cricket at same time because cricket was not fun to him he was understood that cricket is his passion and love both" So he left his job and continued playing due to which his father refused to talking with him, But he never lose the hope. His father used to say cricket is a gentlemen's game and we are so small for that. But In Mahi's opinion if it was a gentlemen's game then there was no any gentlemen bigger than him.
ENTRY IN INDIAN TEAM
It is always say that god helps those who helps to own, So the luck worked and a unit of BCCI (which search for big talents in small cities) its leader Prakash Poddar saw his talent and selected him for triseries tour of INDIA Team A. Mahi played very well on the tour and scored 362 runs in 7 matches. Sourav Ganguly (that time captain of main India team) got impressed by his batting and India team was also having need of wicketkeeper batsman so they thought to select him. In 2005 Mahi got his first chance to play in bangladesh tour but he failed there, In his debut he got runout on a score of zero, But in the next tournament he scored 148 runs on 123 balls against Pakistan, It was a record that any WC batsman scored individually, Then later he also scored 183 runs against Sri lanka.
CHAMPIONSHIPS
After Ganguly he became the captain of team India with the support of sachin tendulkar because of his good planning skills, Then In his captaincy India won first T20 world cup and later ODI world cup after 28 years. In all formats India got rank 1. He changed the standard of fielding and fitness of team India. He left his upper place of batting because, Our team was having a need of good finisher at lower end. By sacrificng his position he became that finisher and upto now he is knowing by the best finisher all across the world. He made India to win all the trophies, and also made our team so strong that for atleast 10 years we dont need to worry like other teams.
BEING THE BRAND OF HEARTS
In between this Dhoni married to Sakshi Dhoni on 4 july 2010, She is also from Dehradun, Uttrakhand. Their daughter Ziva born on 6 feb 2015. In his starting days Mahi used to keep his hair long for follow his favourite John Abraham. Dhoni has craze of bikes and football like John. Apart of that Mahi done many tv ads and became brand for many big owners like Siyaram, Revital, Reebok, Hero, Yamaha but no one knows that he is also a big brand for small owners. In Ranchi (70-80) % of shop owners have named their shops on name of Mahi for showing their love to him. I will not write about his retirements because it will make me emotional and to you too. Mahi is himself very childish he always used to do ghost pranks on roads with his friend.
MR. PERFECT
Between of this he has the most quickest stumping record and the most no. of stumping records, and many more records. Mahi joined Indian Army too for serve to our nation. There is also a biopic movie made on his journey as MS DHONI- The Untold Story.. He truly proved that with passion and self belief you can do anything you want, He is the pride of our nation and our countrymen..WE LOVE YOU MAHI...
