BIOGRAPHY

Childhood and Early life
Sachin Tendulakar born on Apr 24, 1973 in Rajapur, Bombay(Now Mumbai). His father name is Ramesh Tendulkar who was a writer and professor, His mother name is Rajni Tendulkar who is a former LIC worker. Rajni Tendulkar was the second wife of Ramesh Tendulkar, He was already having three children from his first wife ( who died after giving birth to her 3rd child) their 3 childs name are Ajit Tendulkar, Nitin tendulkar and Savita Tendulkar. Sachin was the youngest one in his family, So he always had so much love from his siblings and parents. His father named him sachin on the name of his favourite singer Sachin dev barman.
First meeting with Ramakant Achrekar
Sachin was very naughty during his childhood and he was also having interest in cricket. So, His elder brother Ajit taken him to the Ramakant Achrekar who was a popular coach of cricket. Ramakant Achrekar saw sachin's match but he didn't impress because of his low performance. So, he denied to teach him but on request of Ajit tendulkar he gave him another chance next time they saw him from hiding behind the tree, This time Sachin performed very well and Ramakant saw his potential.
Sachin's gripping style of bat
He started him to coach. But very soon he had some issue with Sachin's gripping style of bat that Sachin used to grip his bat from lower side but according to Ramakant sir No one could hit good shots with this type gripping, So he suggested him to change his gripping style. After changing his gripping style Sachin was not feeling comfortable and he talked to Ramakant sir about it. Sir asked the story behind his low gripping style, Sachin answered that when he was too small they were having only Ajit's bat so that was long for him to handle and balancing of it he used to grip the bat from lower end and now he is habitual of doing this. Ramakant allowed him to play like that.
Starting of professional matches, Club matches
Later Ramakant sir suggested him to take admission in Shraddha Asharam school for better environment of cricket and high opportunities. Then sachin started to play for professional teams and clubs too. He also used to do practice at Shivaji park with Ramakant sir at both time morning and evening. Ramkant used to put coins on stump that if anyone will out Sachin then he will get the coin and if sachin remain Not out whole day then Sachin will have the coin. Sachin still have those 13 coins and he says that these are the best best prizes of his life. Now sachin was the well known name around his region because of his good skills and classical shots. He continued playing for school and clubs.
Meeting with legends Dennis lilley and Sunil Gavaskar
He was also having interest in learning bowling so in 1987 at the age of 14 he went to MRF Pace Foundation of Madras where he met Former Australian bowler Dennis Lilley. He suggested sachin to not take interest in bowling and continue with his batting because of his good batting skills. Later Lilley also suggested same thing to former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly. Then a event organised for Best Junior cricket award, sachin was a big claimant to have it but he didn't get it. So he became demotivate and sad that time.
Then former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar gave him his one pair batting pads and said him Never lose hope young man. This sentence filled the high level of energy in Sachin's mind. After even breaking of Sunil's 34 centuries in test match record sachin says that those pads are the best motivational gifts he had ever in his life and those pads always keep him motivated. This shows that how much he used to respect his seniors and coaches.

Entry in Domestic Cricket and then in International team
On Nov 14, 1987 he taken entry in Ranji Trophy domestic cricket from team Mumbai but he did not had chance to play even a single match in whole tournament. Then on Dec 11, 1988 at the age of 15 years and 232 days he debuted for Mumbai against Gujarat. He hitted an unbeaten century in that match and became the youngest player to hit century in first match. then he became the highest run scorer in the tournament. Then in Irani trophy he again hitted century against Delhi while playing for Sesh bharat. He is the only man who has hitted centuries in his first matches of Ranji, Irani and Duleep trophy. At the age of 16 years he got selected for Indian international cricket team. Credit of his selection totally goes to Raj Singh Dungarpur who was selector that time and had gut to select young boy in International team.
Why is Sachin Great? (Pakistan tour)
In Nov 1989, At the age of 16 years 205 days Sachin debuted in test match against one of the best bowling attack team of that time Pakistan in Karachi ground. In his 1st match sachin got out by just hitting 15 runs. Then in other match of same series when Navjot singh Sidhu was on non strike end, Sachin was on strike and suddenly a fast ball hitted on Sachin's nose and it started bleeding, Sidhu says that pitch was the fastest pitch he ever played in his career and pakistani bowlers were bowling too fast when the ball hitted sachin. Everyone suggested him to go in dressing room and take medical support. Sidhu turned to his end but suddenly a sobbing sound came to his ears " I won't go, I'll Play".
Sidhu saw him back sachin was stood on his feets and his eyes were full of tears. Sidhu went on non strike end. Sachin hitted back to back fours in same over and it was the time when no one having dare to see in Pakistani bowlers eyes. But sachin maintained eye contact with him and signed him to bowl more fast. Then In 1992-93 he played his 1st match in India against England which was his career's 22nd test match. He then also performed well against big teams like Australia and South Africa. He scored his 1st century in ODI matches by waiting 79 matches. But as he started it, that century became his habit he made cricket popular in India. He was the player that whenever he got out in match around 80% Indians used to make their TV OFF. He is the person by whom Cricket became the religion in India and Sachin became the God of cricket.

He has many more records in batting like 100 centuries in International matches, Most highest runs scorer in ODI and test matches, Hitting of most no. of fours in International cricket, 1st man to hit double century in ODI Cricket. Most matches playing record and many more.
Why he is the God of Cricket?
Many legend bowlers says that they never seen Batsman like sachin in their career, because for making him out they used to irritate him by abusing by saying bad word, by hitting bouncer and Sachin never said even a single bad word back to them, For replying them he was having a pure smile on his face and his bat in his hands. This is the reason they themselves used to feel like bad. They say he is the calmest batsman in history of cricket and they respect him with their heart. This is the reason behind popularity of Sachin the reason behind why he is God of cricket.
Sachin's biggest fan
As he has millions of fans but Sudhir kumar chaudhary is said to be his biggest fan, As once Sudhir was traveled around 800 miles by his bicycle to see Sachin's batting. From that time he never missed a single match of Sachin in all over the world. He still go to all where to support Indian team. His tickets and all wages is paid by Sachin tendulkar.
Sachin's retirement
On Dec 23, 2012 he announced retirement from ODI cricket and On Nov 16, 2013 he played his last test match in his home ground Wankhede stadium Mumbai.
